Slip-ups Made by World Leaders When They Think No One Is Listening
This week, Indonesia's leader Prabowo Subianto believed he was a confidential discussion with US President Donald Trump during Middle East peace talks in Egypt.
However, a hot-mic incident captured Prabowo requesting Trump to organize a call with his son Eric, both of whom hold positions at the family business.
This was just one in a string of gaffes committed by world leaders thinking they're off the record.
Here are several additional noteworthy errors:
Organ Transplants and Everlasting Life
At a military parade in Beijing this September, China's leader Xi Jinping and Russia's head Vladimir Putin were recorded talking about organ transplants as a approach for prolonging life.
"Human organs can be repeatedly transplanted. The longer you live, the more youthful you get, and it's possible to even reach eternal life," Putin's interpreter was heard saying.
Xi, who was off camera, responded in Chinese: "Experts forecast that in this century people may reach 150 years old."

'Water Lapping at Your Door'
Former Australian border protection chief Peter Dutton came under fire in 2015 when he joked about the plight of residents in the Pacific experiencing ocean encroachment.
Dutton was conversing with then-prime minister Tony Abbott, who had just returned from environmental talks with regional heads in Port Moresby.
Noting that a migration discussion was running on "Cape York time", Abbott replied: "There was a bit of that up in Port Moresby."
Dutton added: "Time doesn't mean anything when you're about to have the ocean reaching your home."
These remarks sparked outrage from regional nations and environmentalists, while the opposition Labor party called for Dutton to issue an apology.

'Bigoted Woman'
As Labour prime minister Gordon Brown was campaigning in 2010, he faced a constituent who questioned him on migration and the economic situation.
Remaining connected to a Sky news microphone when he got into his vehicle, Brown was recorded stating: "That went terribly – they should never have put me with that individual. Who thought of that? Ridiculous."
Asked what she had said, he replied: "All topics, she was just a prejudiced person."
The scandal received extensive coverage for weeks and Brown went on to lose the political race.
'I Cannot Bear Netanyahu. He Lies.'
Ex-American leader Barack Obama was in discussion at the G20 summit in Cannes in 2011 with then French president Nicolas Sarkozy when their comments about Israel's prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu were captured by a active recording device.
Sarkozy stated: "I can't stand Netanyahu. He deceives."
According to a account from a French interpreter quoted by Reuters, Obama replied: "You've had enough but I must work with him frequently than you."
'Major League ***hole'
A vintage recording incident from then US presidential candidate George W. Bush occurred when he made a negative comment about a journalist from The New York Times.
The Republican presidential nominee was unaware that a recording device was active when he turned to Dick Cheney at a political event and said, "That's Adam Clymer, complete jerk from the New York Times."
Cheney answered: "Absolutely, he is, big time."
